Wyke vs Hunslet Warriors

Wyke under 8's entertain the Hunslet WArriors on three first home game of the season.

With almost a full turnout from Wyke and a strong team from Hunslet it looked like it was going to be a good game.

Both teams started strong. But within the first 10 mins we could tell that Hunslet were full under 8's team. They were quick off the line and strong in tackling. That didn't stop wyke though. We had lots of strong tackles going in, with some stand out tackling from Alfie Barraclough, Finley Abrahams and Lucas Range Bennett.

By half time wyke knew that the game was going to be Hunslets, but they didn't stop, even thought it was a freezing morning in the park. The boys carried on, with some good running from Mark Hemingway and Thomas Croft, and although they didn't win they should be all pleased of their warrior performance.
