Wyke put their season unbeaten record on the line at Keighley Albion on Friday night

Wyke put their season unbeaten record on the line at Keighley Albion on Friday night. The contest is a possible pre-run of the expected playoff semi final. Wyke’s win at the weekend saw them go unbeaten in the league at home for two seasons running and this is their opportunity to go one better this season than last and not lose a game. Coach Ian Wormald has this to say ahead of the game “with the home win at the weekend going how it did I got to shift a few players about during that to try a couple of things out. I’m still not convinced I have the perfect formula for our semi final and will be resting a couple of players to allow others in to stake their claim for a shirt. Going unbeaten is not that important to me if I’m honest, as it’s about getting silverware back for Wyke and having grabbed the cup and league I’m now getting us ready for the playoffs which will be a tough ask. Jordan Myers , Alec Williams and Sam Kittsen will come back in this week after missing out last week”. Get over to Keighley and see the lads in their final away game of the season.
