Three of Wyke Rugby Clubs ex-players are currently over in Toronto Canada ?? with the Great Britain Police Masters Rugby League Team.
They will play against the Ontario Grey Beards, on the evening of Tuesday 16th and a select Canadian National Team on the evening of Friday 19th.
Daniel Sharp who laiked for Wyke as a centre / winger between the years of 1999 to 2004
Daniel now works on the Forensic side of West Yorkshire Police force and has represented West Yorkshire and Great Britain Police on many a Master Tour.
Jason Whomack, ex Wyke player and Chairman is on the tour as a guest.
Jason laiked for Wyke as a 14 year old, joining the under 15's side, progressing through the junior sides, to under 18's and then into the 2nd team and then the 1st team. Retiring at the age of 32.
Jason has laiked a few Masters games for Wyke, in the Eddie McGuinness memorial event and a select Bradford Team v BARLA Great Britain side.
Finally Alan Terry, Wyke Rugby Clubs President, is also a guest player on the tour.
Alan joined the club in 1973, at the same time as he played for Dewsbury RL. He finally retired from laiking for Wyke at the grand age of 53.
Alan has since played in the inaugural Masters tournament at Saddeworth and has since played as a guest in many a representative team, including touring Australia in 2015 with Great Britain Masters Team.
