Wyke make the long trip to Skirlaugh this Saturday with a squad more than capable of winning the game.

The game is at the same time as the challenge cup derby game between Bradford and Leeds. Wyke are 4 in 4 and playing some great rugby however coaches Wormald and Barraclough are cautious of what they could face over at Skirlaugh. Wormald said “Skirlaugh will be no mugs with their first team doing well in the ncl and playing away. Some players will play 2nds for them due to commitments. I’m disappointed at the RFL playing a game that most of the team would love to watch at the same time as all amateur games however most of the squad are putting us before the game. We travel their with a strong team but with regular Oscar Woodhead missing due to his wife giving birth and Jimmy waine missing due to holiday it gives others opportunities. Lamech Superville will retain his shirt after his quick fire Hatrick and after consultation with the academy coaches it was thought Callum Sunter deserved a shot in the team”.
