Wyke Open Age claim their first league title in 10 years

Wyke A.R.L.F.C. Open age have been crowned Yorkshire Mens League division champions after a closely fought race to the title with Crofton.
The Open age squads first title win in 10 years caps off what has been a fantastic 18 months for the Open Age under the stewardship of Ian Wormald & Daniel Barraclough with help from Lisa Goodwin, Graham Fynn and Billy Barraclough which has seen the squad gain promotion from YML Division 5, finish second in the pennine league, reach a pennine cup final and win the Jack Senior Bradford Cup for the first time in 40 years. What makes these achievements even better is the fact that the average age of the team is around 20 years old and with some of our Junior teams nearing the correct age to play for the Open age the next few years promise to be exciting times at Wyke.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE BOYS

YES WYKE!!!
